Everyone has their own definition of dating, which can cause confusion in a dating “relationship”. Some people take dating as not allowing themselves to talk to other people and some may take it as a casual thing.

So, where does dating draw the line? When people start to date they don’t take it serious because they’re just getting to know each other and enjoying ones company. But what happens after a few months? Is it ok to give your number out to other people or even go on other dates?

Well it depends on the situation you’re in. If someone has been dating for a few months and things seem to be going good and it can eventually lead to a relationship then they shouldn’t go on other dates nor give their number out; but if they do happen to do so it doesn’t mean that they are doing anything wrong because they aren’t in a relationship.

If they’re just dating for fun and it’s nothing serious than it’s ok if they’re being a casual dater. It is not ok to go on other dates when the two are being intimate with each other because the “relationship” is filled with more emotional feelings.

Even if the dating is fun and a relationship will never form but their being intimate than they shouldn’t cross the line by dating other people. It’s also important to communicate with the other person to see where you stand and if it’s ok to go on other dates.
