Immediate identification lead: Duane La Chance suffered third-degree burns at a Springfield Municipal Power Plant yesterday.
Delayed identification lead: A pipe fitter suffered third-degree burns yesterday when he was installing new pipes on the roof of the power plant when he accidentally touched a power line carrying 15,000 volts.
Car accident
Immediate identification lead: James W. Cunning, 20, and Wayne Clay, 19, were involved in a collision yesterday on U.S. 63, north of Blue Ridge Road.
Delayed identification lead: Two teenage boys collided yesterday when Wayne Clay, crossed the center line and struck James W. Cunning's vehicle. Cunning is in satisfactory condition at Springfield Hospital.
